Hettich, Hafele and Bhutan Tuff inside
Drawers ride on Hettich soft-close runners. Pedestal locks come from Hafele or Ebco. The walnut show face is 0.6 mm veneer from Bhutan Tuff. The hardware is named on the quote, not hidden behind a generic spec line.
2-year manufacturing-defect warranty
The desk, credenza and pedestal carry a flat 2-year warranty on manufacturing defects. Replacement parts are stocked at Greater Noida and ship in 7 working days when needed.
NCR own crew, 10-year workmanship cover
Delivery and install inside Delhi NCR are handled by our own crew on payroll, free of charge. The brass-frame variant uses a 100-hour salt-spray powder coat from Paramount or AkzoNobel. Install carries a 10-year workmanship cover.
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified
The workshop runs under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, with GreenGuard and FSC documentation on relevant veneer and laminate lines. GeM and BIFMA paperwork is shared with bulk procurement teams on request.

Our in-house CAD studio drafts the desk, credenza and pedestal as a co-ordinated set. You see plan view, elevation and a rendered 3D in the proposed finish before any invoice is raised.

What goes into a Zumax executive desk
- Walnut veneer from Bhutan Tuff
- Work surface and modesty panel are clad in 0.6 mm natural walnut veneer sourced from Bhutan Tuff. The veneer is sealed with a PU lacquer at 35 to 40 microns and bordered with a 2 mm PVC edge band at every exposed edge so the show face doesn't lift in year three.
- Honed stone-effect HPL alternative
- If you prefer a stone face over walnut, the same desk is offered in honed stone-effect HPL meeting EN 438 and IS 2046. The laminate sits on the same E1-grade MDF substrate with a 2 mm PVC edge band, and the credenza ships matched.
- Hettich runners and hinges
- Every pedestal drawer rides on Hettich soft-close runners. Cabinet shutters on the credenza take Hettich hinges. Some boutique builds use Salice or Grass on the credenza concealed hinges; the spec is named on the quote.
- Lever lock from Hafele or Ebco
- The pedestal ships with a lever lock and bolt set sourced from Hafele or Ebco as standard. The same lock body is offered on the credenza shutter at no extra charge if you specify it at order, and both lock bodies sit under the 2-year manufacturing-defect warranty.
- Steel sub-frame and brass-frame option
- L-shape builds and the Manhattan brass-frame desk carry an internal steel sub-frame for span stiffness under a 27-inch monitor plus folder load. The brass-frame variant uses a powder-coated steel under-structure finished with Paramount or AkzoNobel paint, 100-hour salt-spray tested.
- Cable trough and 90 W grommet
- Every desk in the collection ships with a full-length cable trough along the back edge of the work surface and a centre grommet sized for a 90 W laptop brick. The credenza and side return carry co-ordinated grommets so power and data terminate cleanly behind the desk.

What is the standard size of an executive table in India?
Indian executive desks usually run between 1500 x 750 mm and 1800 x 900 mm at a 750 mm working height. Zumax builds at 1800 x 900 mm as the default. L-shape returns go to 2100 x 1800 mm, and CEO-cabin configurations can be specified up to 2400 x 2000 mm. Custom sizes are quoted with the standard 15-day office build lead time.
How are Zumax executive desks quoted?
Pricing is project-specific and shared after the cabin survey, since it depends on size, finish, storage layout and whether a co-ordinated credenza or side return is included. Send the cabin dimensions and finish preference, and our Business Coordinator Team will revert with a written, itemised quote in 24 to 48 hours.
What materials are used in a Zumax executive table?
The substrate is E1-grade MDF with an internal steel sub-frame on L-shape and brass-framed builds. Surfaces are 0.6 mm natural walnut veneer sourced from Bhutan Tuff or honed stone-effect HPL with a 2 mm PVC edge band. Hardware is Hettich for the runners and cabinet hinges, with a lever lock and bolt set sourced from Hafele or Ebco on the pedestal.
How long does an executive table take to deliver?
Standard lead time is 15 days from order confirmation. That window includes made-to-order veneer finishing and quality check. Tier-2 cities add 2 to 3 days. Delivery and on-site installation by our own crew is free within Delhi NCR. Outside NCR, Zumax-supervised partner crews handle install and third-party logistics is billed as actuals. Site install runs 90 to 120 minutes for an L-shape build.
Does the executive desk come with cable management?
Yes. Every desk in this collection ships with a full-length cable trough along the back edge of the work surface, plus a centre grommet sized for a 90 W laptop brick. The credenza and side return carry co-ordinated grommets so power and data terminate cleanly behind the desk.
Can the pedestal and credenza be locked?
The pedestal ships with a lever lock and bolt set sourced from Hafele or Ebco as standard. Credenza shutters take an optional matched lock at no extra charge if you specify it at order. Both lock bodies are covered under the 2-year manufacturing-defect warranty.
Is the walnut veneer finish prone to chipping or scratches?
The 0.6 mm Bhutan Tuff veneer is sealed with a PU lacquer at 35 to 40 microns and finished with a 2 mm PVC edge band at every exposed edge. It holds up to day-to-day office wear. The work surface is covered under the 2-year manufacturing-defect warranty.
Can I get a matching credenza, side return and storage with the executive table?
Yes. Every executive table in this collection can be specified with an optional co-ordinated credenza and side return in matched veneer or laminate. You can also add a storage cabinet from the workspaces storage line if you want to extend the cabin. We quote them together so the finish, proportion and hardware spec stay consistent.
Looking after your Zumax executive desk
Wipe the walnut veneer or stone-effect HPL with a soft, slightly damp microfibre cloth. Skip abrasive scrubs, acetone and harsh kitchen cleaners — they cut through the PU lacquer and dull the edge band over time.
Use coasters under hot mugs and a desk pad under the monitor base. The 35 to 40 micron PU lacquer is tough for day-to-day office wear, not a hot trivet.
Lubricate the Hettich runners with a drop of light machine oil every 12 to 18 months so the soft-close action stays consistent on a pedestal carrying file load.
Test the Hafele or Ebco lever lock with the spare key once a quarter. A lock that gets used stays free; a lock that sits idle for a year is the one that jams the day you need it.
Route cables through the trough and grommet rather than draping them over the edge band. It keeps the cabin tidy and stops the band peeling at the corner where the brick usually sits.
