Zumax builds five boardroom configurations across oval, racetrack and rectangular formats, sized for 10 to 20 seats and finished in walnut veneer (Bhutan Tuff), high-pressure laminate, high-gloss lacquer or honed stone sourced through Hafele's stone partner network. Every top sits on an internal steel chassis with a centre-line cable trough pre-cut for flush power and data modules at each seat, so the same table handles an in-person agenda or a hybrid video call without an after-market retrofit. Tables ship made to order in 15 days from order confirmation, out of our 60,000 sq.ft workshop in Greater Noida. Delivery and installation are handled by Zumax in-house crews across Delhi NCR. Outside NCR, partner crews supervised by Zumax handle the install, billed as actuals. In Delhi NCR the install is handled by Zumax in-house crews on payroll. The steel chassis under every top is powder-coated to a 100-hour salt-spray standard so the base does not pit in humid floors.

A Zumax surveyor visits the boardroom with a laser distance meter, tablet and material samples. We measure circulation, locate the existing floor-box or conduit and check ceiling height for the pendant brief.

Once the PO drops, the table moves into the production slot at our 60,000 sq.ft workshop. Internal steel chassis is welded and powder-coated in-house, the top is engineered, finished and edge-banded to 2 mm. No outsourced sub-assemblies, no white-labelled imports.

In Delhi NCR our own in-house crew handles delivery, on-site assembly and module wiring. Outside NCR, a Zumax-supervised partner crew installs with our site lead present on bigger projects, logistics billed as actuals. Workmanship cover runs 10 years.
What goes into a Zumax conference table
- 25 mm engineered core top
- Every long-span top is built on a 25 mm engineered core with a 2 mm edge-band finish. The substrate stops the sag we see on MDF-only boardroom tables by month nine of daily commercial use.
- Walnut veneer from Bhutan Tuff
- Veneer tops are pressed with Bhutan Tuff stock for grain consistency across a 3.6 to 6 metre run. Book-matched on ovals and racetracks, slip-matched on rectangulars when the client wants a quieter face.
- Honed stone via Hafele's partner stone yard
- Stone and quartz tops are sourced through Hafele's stone partner network. The yard cuts to our internal steel chassis template, so the slab sits flat on the frame without sub-frame shimming.
- Anti-microbial HPL option
- Where the brief is a hybrid agenda-and-canteen room, we spec a high-pressure laminate to EN 438 / IS 2046 from Marino, Greenlam or Royal Touch. Cleans down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
- Internal steel chassis with powder coat
- The chassis is CRCA steel, MIG-welded, then powder-coated with a Paramount or AkzoNobel finish that is 100-hour salt-spray tested. The cable trough is pre-cut at this stage, not retrofitted on site.
- Hettich access-flap fittings
- Centre-line access flaps and modesty-panel hardware use Hettich hinges and runners. Soft-close on every flap so the wood does not chip against the steel rebate after a thousand opens.

What size conference table do I need for 10 seaters?
A 10-seater needs roughly 3000 mm length by 1200 mm depth. That gives 600 mm of personal width per seat plus elbow room at the heads of the table. Zumax sizes the Riviera oval at 3600 mm if you want 12 to 14 seats comfortably. For a tight 10-person room we cut to 3000 x 1200 mm with the same cable spec.
Do Zumax conference tables come with built-in power and data?
Yes. Every conference table ships with a centre-line cable trough pre-cut at the manufacturing stage. Flush-mount power, RJ45 data and HDMI modules are quoted as an add-on per seat. We supply Anchor, Legrand or Norisys modules depending on the building's existing electricals.
How are Zumax conference tables quoted?
Pricing is project-specific and shared after the site survey, since it depends on seat count, top material (HPL, walnut veneer, lacquer or stone), base build and the power and data module count. Send the floor plan and seat count and the Business Coordinator Team will revert with a written quote in 24 to 48 hours. A 2D / 3D layout follows within 5 working days of the survey.
What is the lead time for a made-to-order boardroom table?
Standard lead time is 15 days from order confirmation, out of the Greater Noida workshop. Tier-2 cities add 2 to 3 days for transit. We hold the production slot the moment the PO drops, so the date does not slip on you.
Can you deliver and install in Delhi NCR?
Yes. Delivery and on-site installation are handled by Zumax in-house crews across Delhi NCR at no additional cost. Outside NCR, Zumax-supervised partner crews handle the install and logistics are billed as actuals. Average on-site time is 90 minutes for tables up to 12 seats and 3 hours for 16-seat ovals and above.
What warranty applies to a Zumax conference table?
Two years on manufacturing defects across the frame, top and hardware, plus a 10-year workmanship cover on the installation. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal commercial use and is backed by the Zumax service team out of Greater Noida, where replacement parts are stocked.
What is the difference between an oval, racetrack and rectangular boardroom table?
A rectangular table seats the most people for a given length but creates sharp corners and weaker sight-lines across the room. A racetrack rounds off the short ends, which works better for video calls and presentations. An oval has continuous curvature on all sides. Most CEOs prefer it for client-facing rooms because nobody sits at a head position.

Looking after your Zumax conference table
Wipe the top down weekly with a soft microfibre cloth and a mild pH-neutral cleaner. Skip ammonia, bleach and any abrasive scouring pad on veneer, lacquer or stone.
Coaster every cup. Walnut veneer and high-gloss lacquer mark with heat rings; honed stone etches under acidic spills (coffee, citrus, wine) if left for more than a few minutes.
Lift the centre-line access flap once a quarter and run a vacuum nozzle through the cable trough. Dust build-up around flush power modules is the most common cause of intermittent contact.
Lubricate the Hettich flap hinges with a light silicone spray once a year. Tighten the visible chassis bolts under the top on the same schedule.
For deeper polish on veneer, use a beeswax or carnauba-based furniture wax twice a year. Stone tops re-seal every 12 to 18 months depending on use.
