Zumax Equipments Pvt. Ltd. has been making modular furniture for Indian homes and Indian businesses out of one workshop in Greater Noida since 2008. We began on the institutional side (school benches, lab counters, auditorium seating) and moved into modular kitchens, luxury wardrobes, steel almirahs, office workstations and conference rooms because the same machinery, the same Hettich hardware, and the same Paramount / AkzoNobel powder-coat line could build all of it properly. Our design studio, CNC floor, paint shop and installation crew all sit under one roof at 221/1, Udyog Kendra I, Ecotech III, Greater Noida 201306. Own crews handle delivery and install across Delhi NCR. Outside NCR is handled by Zumax-supervised partner crews and third-party logistics, billed as actuals. No distributors. No white-label outsourcing. One invoice, one warranty, one phone number.

About Zumax — common questions
Our 60,000 sq.ft workshop is at 221/1, Udyog Kendra I, Ecotech III, Greater Noida 201306. CNC machining, edge-banding, powder-coating, upholstery and quality control all happen on the same site. A manufacturer. Zumax Equipments Pvt. Ltd. has owned the workshop, the machinery and the install crew since 2008. We do not white-label other factories and we do not sell imported showroom models. The only items we source are hardware (Hettich hinges and runners, Hafele or Ebco locks, Samhongsa gas lifts), powder coat paint (Paramount, AkzoNobel), BWP plywood (Greenply, Century), tempered glass (Saint-Gobain, AIS), laminate from Marino, Greenlam and Royal Touch, and veneer from Bhutan Tuff. All of it is bought direct from the OEM, not through a trader.
Yes. Free delivery and free on-site assembly are NCR only, handled by our own crew. Outside NCR we work with Zumax-supervised partner crews and third-party logistics, billed as actuals on each order. For bigger projects a site lead from Zumax flies in. Add 2 to 3 days on top of the standard lead time for Tier-2 cities.
The workshop is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. Office chair mechanisms are BIFMA X5.1 tested. Classroom and student furniture is sized to NIB standard. Lab benches reference IS 4837 and library shelving references IS 1553. Laminates conform to EN 438 and IS 2046, with anti-microbial options from Marino, Greenlam and Royal Touch. Powder coat is 100-hour salt-spray tested. Auditorium fabric is IS 15768 fire-retardant. GeM, BIS and BIFMA documents are shared with bulk procurement teams on request.
A written quote lands in 24 to 48 hours. A 2D or 3D layout follows in 5 working days from the site survey. An in-stock almirah or chair ships in 24 hours subject to availability; a custom almirah configuration takes 4 to 5 days. A modular kitchen, luxury wardrobe, lockers, classroom bulk order or a 50-seater office fit-out runs 15 days from order confirmation, subject to site readiness on electrical, plumbing and paint. Tier-2 cities add 2 to 3 days.
Steel almirahs, modular kitchens and luxury wardrobes carry a 10-year warranty. Office workstations, conference and executive desks, reception desks, soft seating, lockers, credenzas, classroom desks, lab benches and auditorium chairs carry a 2-year warranty on manufacturing defects. Office chairs carry a 1-year warranty on a replacement-only basis, with no warranty on castors. Re-upholstery on soft seating is available from year 5. Workmanship cover on install is 10 years.
Yes. We run a dedicated trade desk for architects and interior designers, with confidential trade terms, white-labelled drawings on request, and a fixed project manager for the duration of the build. Email works@zumax.in with "Trade" in the subject line and the Business Coordinator Team will send the partner pack.
We issue fully GST-compliant tax invoices with HSN codes for furniture (9403 family) so buyers can claim full Input Tax Credit. For inter-state B2B orders we provide e-way bills, C&F documentation and PO acknowledgements as standard. MSME and government tender paperwork is supported.
Catalogue brands and marketplace brands run multi-plant operations selling through dealer networks. Zumax sells direct from one workshop in Greater Noida, which removes the dealer layer and gives you a single point of contact from survey to handover. For a standardised catalogue product, an imported showroom model may suit. For custom modular work, a steel almirah built as an alternative to a Godrej Slimline 3-door almirah, or a full fit-out, talk to us and we will share a written quote in 24 to 48 hours after a site survey.
